Job scope

As a fast-growing company, we are looking for a General Accountant cum Admin officer in our Hanoi office, reporting to the Company Director and the Regional Finance (based in Singapore), to provide day-to-day support in Accounting, HR and Administration functions for the Hanoi office.

Account:

  • Keep record of local financial transaction in line with Vietnamese Accounting Standards
  • Cash management (including payment management), vouchering, organization, and normalization of expense receipts, etc.
  • Record sales (accounts receivable), purchases (accounts payable), Inventory management, import and export of goods
  • Cash receipts and disbursements, accounts payable, and advances.
  • Administer local various tax-related requirements as necessary (exemption of PIT, VAT, customs duties...)
  • Calculate, report, and pay various taxes, and apply for VAT refunds.
  • Management of various financial reports, accounting audits, management of tax audits, and overall handling of tax audits
  • Inquiries from tax authorities and responses to administrative audits
  • General affairs (support for expatriates, support for business travelers, asset management, expense claims, office supplies and filing etc.)
  • Respond to general inquiries from internal and external parties , Other general administrative support duties as assigned

*This position will assist with administrative procedures prior to the establishment of the company

Requirements

Must have

  • Relevant Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field
  • Minimum of 3- 5 years relevant work experience.
  • Solid knowledge of Government Social Insurance and Tax laws, Familiar with local policies
  • Experience in all aspects of accounting including account payables, account receivables, financial reporting, bank reconciliation, payroll administration, and tax accounting.
  • Good computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Ability to multitask, can-do attitude
  • Well-organized and attention to details skills.
  • Must demonstrate initiative, motivation, and the ability to work independently
  • Proficient in spoken and written English
  • Able to commence work immediately or within short notice period

Nice to have

  • Having experience in setting up a new FDI company/ Manufacturing and Assembling Company
  • Having experience in Administration task
